In a morning that's shot, with a burning horizon; but that's not for you, call yourself out. If you whisper "it's fine" then the sun will keep shining, and you won't defile any of their smiles.
So don't flinch, when those acts and those words crash into you. Pretend it's a playful pinch and nobody's gotta know it burns like a bitch.
So open your door to the house you foul on the earth you shame, descend into your shadows and find your little pink forget-me-nots.
Forget me not.
And let them wash your sins and your mind. You can believe that everyone's kind and forget about the tar in their teeth when you see their crooked smiles.
You can
There are few reasons left as to why this body, with this shattered heart, is still intact.
This sea is turbulent and these storms won't end, like a tempest approaching its zenith.
And this raft I've been clinging to has left me with splinters as it now falls to pieces.
The end is near, our end is near, my end is near, my dear.

Howitzers: A Farewell Call
A crumbling fortress. Banners torn, turrets in ruins and battlements ripped asunder by the ravages of time and war.
A war against an enemy, both entirely foreign and yet, simply the same as that within these walls. A shadow of the fallowed chateau's inhabitants.
A constant roar of artillery slams the aging stones and sullied earth. The defenders scatter as rats from the flaming shells and their searing impacts.
They grow tired. They are worn. Their rations are depleted. Their weapons dulling and rusted. Their morale spent. Their will, exhausted.
Through a thousand turbulent storms and endless assaults they stood b

They Close Their Minds
An ocean swallows every wish I made. My frozen lungs shatter as I scream to a deaf world, a broken shade.
Every hope and every thought, torn to tatters by the wolves that surround. Their teeth snarl as they don the bloodied wool of sheep, across crimson ground.
When eyes meet and tongues lash out like the whips they were meant to be. The mind bleeds from every strike, as given up is the hope to flee.
As the fire crawls up my legs, these flames begin to lick my face. A prayer is made, for a metal screech of horrid speed and twisted shapes, wicked grace.
One sweet kiss. For poisoned, leadened bliss.

The City of Festivals
Hands flee from light, into cataclysmic delight.
Moving swift, the jump from a cliff.
Bereft from solemnity, destruction of anonymity.
A juxtaposition of creatures of friction.
Quiet breeze from the faux seas.
Hour bells play their song, through midnight swells.
A concrete kiss, airy bliss.
As cloth shields shift and twist.
Burning stars, sear the sky above,
and so, below, burned this love.
The fact of the matter is,
I'm no longer scared of my foregone conclusions
and devilish actions.
I'm just waiting, for the world to scream stop.
Before I reach the burning, crimson precipice, and slip off the edge.
As these flowers sprout in your name
Their vibrant berries, poisonous flame
You're one in the same
You've crept into my veins
So our vines intertwined
Who could know you'd become a weed
A vicious seed, that choked me so

The roar of the engines and the heat from the blast woke him up. He opened his eyes dazed and confused by the new atmosphere and the sudden blasting sunlight. Eyes fill black as you're forced to think back

One last flash and that's one final lash
One final twirl, you pirouette
